Due to the changing dynamics in the race for the Senate in Nevada, Sharron Angle has had to cancel her August 20th appearances in Williamson County. Â While we are disappointed, we wish Sharron continued success in her race to retire Harry Reid from the US Senate and we urge that you continue to support her as we do.
We apologize for any inconvenience, and will look for other opportunities to bring her to central Texas in the future.
The State Convention is almost here!
Mike McCloskey is already hard at work in Dallas working on the platform, I leave for Dallas in the morning, and by Friday several hundred of us will be ready to adopt a platform, debate the rules, and elect a Chairman, Vice-chairman, and two SREC committee members to lead us to victory in November.
We will post any last-minute developments here, so please check back often.

The Organizational meeting of the Williamson County Republican Party Executive Committee attracted over 150 enthusiastic attendees.

This year’s Grand Old Picnic will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2:00pm – 6:00pm in Georgetown’s Berry Springs Park.
All Republicans are invited to join us for hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, snow-cones, and all the fixings at this free, family-friendly event.
To guarantee we have enough food, drink, and supplies, please RSVP with the number of attendees (children under 12, all others).

If you did not have a chance to get out and vote early, please make sure you get out and vote on Saturday, May 8, if you have any items on the ballot.
